That;'s because OpenSuse has a patched Firefox, that uses KDE/Qt dialogs instead of GTK ones.

openSUSE is by far the most polished KDE distro. They work closely with KDE foundation. Dont forget that major players in the market back a different DE for obvious branding reasons

I heard Fedora is the "Gnome distro", and openSUSE the "KDE" one. As in, best for each DE. Is there any truth to that?

KDE is a great DE if you don't use your machine and instead look at your wallpaper or some windows vista style widgets.

For everything else its amateur hour crap.

Windows 8 ui was a gnome3 imitation.

I'm literally dicking about on a MATE live USB right now, and I can't right click or move those status icons in the middle of my panel because everytime I click on them it locks the UI for 30 seconds.

KDE is pretty but not functional.

GNOME, XFCE, and MATE are functional but not pretty.

Unity is pretty (that multi-use top bar hnnng) but comes with spyware and Ubuntu is locked down babby's first linux.

I don't understand why in modern DEs it is harder to disable mouse acceleration or change the refresh rate than in XFCE btw

Disabling mouse acceleration is actually one of my core tests.

Ubuntu didn't have the menu option, and the online hits all involved stuff that couldn't be tested on a live boot and had comments saying "didn't work"
