Which VGA port is the right one /g/? Bottom or top?
You can use top if you set it in BIOS. Use top, it's better.
>>61004072
They're both right. Top is on board GPU, bottom is discrete GPU.

>Use top, it's better.
No. More than likely, the discrete GPU on the bottom will be faster.
>>61004088
>use integrated when there is a dgpu available
fblpt
why would you want to use vga in the first place
>>61004111
bc im using an oldish monitor lol
>VGA when there's a perfectly good DVI available
>>61004124
this is a random photo online lol, not my actual setup.
>>61004103
I don't know about that, anon
>>61004116
Check your CPU temps. That HP label makes me nervous.
>>61004128
that's good
i was wondering who did the hack job on the PSU
>>61004134
Unless the CPU, motherboard, and RAM are new, and the discrete GPU is old, the discrete GPU will almost certainly be faster than what's on the CPU or motherboard.
>>61004164
I bought the computer in 2016 and was prebuilt, so I guess it's kinda new?
This reminds me of the time my friend spent $2000 on PC and was using discrete graphics for over a month and almost bought a new GPU thinking it was bad.
>>61004193
Discrete means separate as in add on.
>>61004193
I've personally been plugging it into the bottom one for around a year, hope im not making the same mistake lol
>>61004206
1) What is your CPU
2) What is your GPU/s

>>61004204
my bad, integrated graphics
>>61004214
1) CPU is an AMD A8-7600
2) GPU is an NVIDIA GeForce GT 705
>>61004241
So, use the bottom VGA
>>61004256
Thanks, anon!
>>61004241
Remove the GT 705 and use the A8-7600 APU. How did you even get this combination?
>>61004297
by buying a shitty lenovo :(
>>61004270
Anon was wrong, this anon is right
>>61004297
The A8 APU actually destroys the 705. Take it out entirely. But, if you upgrade to a better GPU, use the port on the card.
