While the shape at rear end is nice for ring and pinky, the side buttons might hard to use if your hand weren't big enough.

Because gold and diamond have shit physical properties(excluding diamonds hardness) and because iirc gold has a density of about 19g/cm3 with is on par with tungsten and about 8 grams/cm3 heavier than lead.
Usually having some weight to your electronics make them feel sturdy but the sweetspot for mice that are actually used is less than a 100 grams.
