Yes. It works well to get you feeling awake. I have a hard time getting going in the morning and it helps. I have the older model.
I got one, the basic Phillips one.
I haven't noticed a difference, it hasn't really made my morning any easier. I did manage to get it for only $30 and I was already looking for a dedicated alarm clock, but it's not something I'd pay MSRP for.

Cont. One other thing, you have to hit the top of the unit for the Snooze feature. There is no button, you just aggressively tap the top, it's a little difficult when you're groggy as piss to find that sweet spot between tapping it with no effect and smashing the thing.

Overpriced. I made one with a normal lamp and a timer you plug in between, but eventually the switching noise woke me up.
Nowadays I got some simple remotes hooked up to various shit like lamps and my main power strip so I use that.
