Why do you use Linux?

because Macs are too expensive and Windows just isn't reliable.

The ads are controlled with "get tips tricks and suggestions as you use windows" option, but you wouldn't know, you never actually used it

Because I want an OS I don't have to restart every month on my server.

no, my computer at work has W10 with the a valid license that my boss paid for. Turned off the ads in the "Get tips and suggestions" setting but ads still come through. For example my file viewer still shows OneDrive ads. Do you know how to get rid of it?

I don't like Windows corporate shit. It reminds me every time I'm a loser and will end up in misery. Instead I chose Linux's ingenious simplicity and beauty. Being free is also a feature.
Linux feels faster, lighter and gives me the ability to modify any and all aspects of the os. Also doesn't spy on me or make me watch ads

Because its the best kernel for the GNU system that we have right now.

The file system's easier to navigate, and even their file managers feel more responsive. Being able to install, update or remove a program in one line on practically any flavor is also really convenient, as is the fact that it comes with gcc and both versions of Python. Manpages are also a godsend, and everything is well documented. Honestly, the documentation makes the biggest difference, and I'd only consider going back to working with Windows if they provide better, easily accessible documentation on their utilities. Otherwise, I only ever keep it around for videogames.

Only fats, sjw, otakus, virgins, homosexuals and others shit use linux.
Because the kind of programming I'm doing is easier on Linux.

Freedom
Because my hardware and software exist to serve me, and not the other way around.
The only argument for Windows is from degenerate normies who need to plug their brains into entertainment systems to get their dopamine rushes.
