A microphone sounds the best when it's up close . I used to have a little tripod for my micrpohone that I could place in front of my keyboard, but I would occasinally knock it over when trying to type something.

A microphone arm will let your microphone "float" above your work area while providing the best position for your microphone.

The further away you place your microphone from your mouth, the more the room acoustics come into play, generating echo's and overal a worse sound quality than what your microphone could deliver when it is up close.

Any of you guys into 3d printers? Very recently got interested, expecting my first printer mid next week. I was looking into making an enclosure around my printer out of an ikea table and some corrugated plastic from home depot. Mainly so I can run the printer at night and still sleep in the same room. I know the electronics are usually passively cooled, so my question is this. Would Jimmy rigging a few pc case fans to phone chargers on the wall be adequate to cycle the air through a 2 square foot box?

I collect games and movies. It interests me, especially the analog/deprecated technology aspect. I admit its not the most aesthetically pleasing thing nor is it done in the absolute best way possible but I like having my collection on hand. To each their own.

desu, I didn't buy the D.Va wall scroll but I was eyeing it and a friend ended up buying it for me for my birthday. Its not for everyone but I think its a bit nicer than some thumbtacked $5 poster and it fills out otherwise empty wall space.

One more 'damn' in there and I would think I was replying to some Shadow the hedgehog bot. The appeal is that its Ikea, its cheap, it can be very easily disassembled and moved, and its insanely versatile. At some point down the road I'd like to get something nicer maybe but for where I am now, this works absolutely fine for me.
