If it works, it works. You don't need a new, powerful computer if all you do is check email and write documents.
>old ass motherboard
>tfw nobody appreciates green PCBs anymore
Mine is like that
Q9550, 4GB Ram, 120gb ssd and a couple of spare disks, works faster than most modern computers that only have hdd, play 1080p content just fine and I clean it every year
my fx6300 and gtx760 are a capable gaming machine. can play most any game at an acceptable frame rate with low settings. I never even have to turn my screen res lower than 1080p

Tbh, black PCBs just look better. But this shit is always subjective.
>i should spend thousands to play games that are for children
that pc is fine

my computer was very similar to that up until 2014
though my gpu was 512M, not 2G
my current gpu is 2G

>No color scheme..
>unpopulated ram slot...
>Non matching SATA cables..
>Most expensive part of his setup..
Did you just spend over 9000 seconds making this so we could shit on some poorfags pc? Follow the glow to pcmasterrace and stay there.
Looks like it works from here, it's really not that bad

Black are the worst. You can't see tracks on them.

Oh hey, I had a very similar build a few years ago. It had some cheap ass AMD Sempron and DDR3 4GB RAM instead though, and I think I bought the cheapest case available. Hard drive was taken out of my old laptop and the IDE cable was from the old 2004 family computer. For a I believe it was $150 computer it really wasn't too bad. I could browse 4chan and get work done on it. It's all I needed at the time.
Sempron 3850 at 1.3ghz, 1gb gt710, 8gb of corsair vengeance lp, on a 10$ (new) ECS kam1-l motherboard, a seasonic oem tier 350w bronze psu, a 160gb wd blue and a 250gb Seagate drive I found in an xbox, all slapped on some particleboard and held down with command strips
It works fine
