heres the deal, I have a small game that uses the following libs
>opengl 3.3
>SDL2
>glew
>glm
>soil
>libfreetype (to render fonts)
I want to compile a windows exe to give to my loser normie friends that only have windows. I shat out a copy of VS and after 4 fucking hours I finally got that shit to compile, however:
>tons of retarded C++ errors that neither GCC nor clang complained about
>shit compiles after fixing them, the game runs at 5 FPS and has more bugs that I can count
before I give up I want to try compiling with mingw or clang for windows, but honestly I doubt its as easy as installing the libs and running the makefile
is it worth using cmake? should I try with mingw or clang if it makes no difference in linux?
Trying out mingw might not be a bad idea, but desu it would be faster to just fix what's wrong with the vc project
mingw-w64 is the one that is still maintained. I have linked against SDL2 and glm with it. Good luck op

Joke's on you. Next time compile with -Werror -Wall -pedantic.
Or better yet: write a game in ASM so it's faster.
