So, I just moved into a new place, and the coaxial cable is in the living room. This was to my surprise, as I had planned on having my wired connection PC in the bedroom, quite far away from the living room.
What the fuck do I do here, /g/? Do I need to run an extension cord across the entire house just to use my tower? Can I bridge my modem to my router wirelessly?
Please respond.
Get cheap router from thrift store so you have two. Connect one to modem and one to your computer. Bridge the computer one to the modem one.

Cheap? Wifi or powerline networking.
Best performance? String CAT6.

Yeah, I have a good linksys wireless router. How do I bridge them? It's all wireless?

drill a hole in the ceiling, and snake a CAT5 cable up it.
Call your provider and ask them to run a line to your room. Rogers did this for me for free. They'll only do it for free once, though.
