I've recently ordered an AMD A12-9700P based laptop with a Radeon R7 M440 GPU. Apparently the APU and GPU can be setup as a "hybrid crossfire" resulting into what AMD calls the "Radeon R8 M445DX".
My question is it even fucking worth it to setup hybrid crossfire on this laptop given AMD's spotty record on drivers and laptop support or does this shit actually work and there is actual support for this thing?
Do you have cute feet
It actually works, Crossfire support has improved massively in the last few
But every APU it's bandwidth starved, so don't expect to get good scaling if any at all
Also, you should had waited for Zen APUs

Nah they're pretty... gross

That's good to know! Thanks! I know the Zen APUs are coming out at the end of the year but I needed something "now" and I think I got an ok deal on this. I was also concerned for micro-stuttering from the hybrid-crossfire too, will that be an issue or has AMD ironed that out?
I own an AMD laptop with dual graphics and it's ok. Never had any issues with it.

That's a relief, thanks, I was worried I made a horrible mistake... on top of my other horrible mistake of not being able to wait for the next gen of APUs
