A year ago i listened to you /g/uys and bought the xiaomi piston 3s and they were AMAZING, after breaking them 2 months ago i bought the rock zircons and imo they are terrible, they're not comfortable, they don't sound as good as the pistons and they don't fit well, also the braided part is too hard. I bought them from the official rock store from ali.
Now then, would you recommend the xiaomi hybrid pros? (Considering they're the best xiaomi has to offer) or should i just get another pair of piston 3?
I don't know why but I'm just not enjoying my zircons... It might be just because they don't fit my ears too well (although i love the L Jack).

i cant speak to the hybrid pros but i would warn against the non-pro ones if you were considering them. bought them to replace my piston 3s and found the braided cable wore very quickly near the jack. audio began to drop eventually.

I wouldn't say there's a clear winner, a lot of them are decent with variations that come down to personal preference. People rave about the Jinhao 250, 750 and 550 but I find them to be nothing special desu. I reccommend the Baoer 801 as an extremely affordable first pen that writes nicely and looks great, though it is relatively small and thin so if you have yaoi hands it might not be as good.

The cards the Ali sellers make are actually pretty great but they are really annoying to buy. The cheapest ones are in a premade sets of like 50 or 100 that you can't change, you usually get singles of the main cards. Decent if you want a cube or something. If you want 4x of cards you need the "custom" sets which are about $30 for 100. At that price point you'll know they're fakes but if it's for home use who cares. If you're trying to pass them off at FNM as real then be prepared to spend like $3 to $5 a card. Seems expensive but better than the $150 per fetch land or whatever.

I think when Apple stopped making those monster iPods, they used those really tiny spinny disks (Toshiba?) that fit on a CF card, and I guess they stopped making those disks, or at least in the quantity that Apple needed. Or maybe demand got so low it wasn't worth making the minimum order.

Of course now we have 128GB micro SD cards, but Apple never wants to make anything with a slot when they can solder it in from the start, for twice the price. The Chinese don't do them, its the ex Soviet pressing plants that do them. There's no real central place to find them but VinylDigital in Germany is a good place to find them. They seem to have a connect with whoever makes them. What kind of stuff are you after? Its usually stuff that doesn't get pressed to vinyl or super expensive records that get booted.
