Neato, My only RISC machine is a old IBM powerpc. Not counting OSX machines.
I still have failed to find an AIX floppy image for it.
>>60958400
You must be very new then.
>I still have failed to find an AIX floppy image for it.
Kek. Can't see how you failed to find the freey available boot floppy set and get AIX from IBM.
>>60958658
>get AIX from IBM.
There's my problem friendo. I got this as it was being thrown away so i have none of the documentation IBM asks for to create an account.
>>60958726
It's a discounted machine, just ask them over mail/support, they will want your serial and that's it.
You also need to hook up a SCSI CD-ROM internally or externally. You can't install with just floppies, it's either tape drive or CD.
>>60958790
I honestly didn't expect IBM to even remotely care about some student who practically picked a machine out of the garbage.
>You also need to hook up a SCSI CD-ROM internally
RIP, i don't have any SCSI drives anymore, and I wasted too much money on PC-98 parts. so i gotta hold that off until payday at least.
I hoped i could just load a bunch of floppy images on an sd card and connect a HxC.

Tell them your story, say it's for educational/private use only, they know it's a brick without an OS.

Those ain't that hard to find, you got that far already.
>I hoped i could just load a bunch of floppy images on an sd card and connect a HxC.
The floppy drive ain't standard either usually.

Aight, thanks for the help, I'll send IBM a message.
