I'm on a Nexus 5 running Android 7.1.2 with a June 6th update installed. I'm downloading the one from the 13th right now.

How stable is LineageOS at the moment. I'm currently holding of and staying on MIUI but I'd really like to switch to LineageOS.
They really should try to get some snapshot releases out at an earlier stage without some of the possibly unstable features.
I just want to switch but I also really want it to be stable.
>>60962262
It's stable enough that I use nightly as my day to day mobile OS.
>>60962262
LineageOS doesn't integrate all the patches from Google, and can't fix exploits in proprietary vendor firmware. If your phone doesn't have official support anymore, it's not secure.
>>60962295
Do you usually encounter bugs? If yes are those minor bugs or is it a very rare occurrence?
Just want to be a little bit more sure since my phone is the only device I own that I really want to work without issue because it's very anoying to fix shit without a lot of terminal tools and a lack of keyboard (and it's always nice to have atleast one device with you you know you can perfectly rely on).

P9?

I really dig that font, mind sharing? I've installed the Ubuntu font myself, but it feels clunky

>LineageOS doesn't integrate all the patches from Google
False.
>and can't fix exploits in proprietary vendor firmware.
So it's better to stay on an outdated version of Android so you can get doubly fucked by malware? Also Nexus, Pixel, OnePlus, and other developer oriented devices use as much open source firmware as possible.
>If your phone doesn't have official support anymore, it's not secure.
Also false. I never use the stock ROMs because they include Google shitware and bloat like Shitbook and Twatter. A custom ROM with the bare essentials that's kept updated is more secure than the stock OS.
Nice try, CIA nigger.
So many LineageOS, does the latest version of QuickPic works for you guys? I'm using an old version because it doesn't, for me.
>>60962417
yep
I've been on LineageOS for like 6 months now. I think TWRP just had an update and if you try to update Lineage it fucks up.
Anyone have any info? Guess I'll try to update twrp
>Default phone app isn't functional
>Numpad doesn't register on calls where it asks for redirects
>Random restarts
>Battery life is abysmal
>Phone dies at 20-30% battery and won't turn back on, plug in for 2 mins and boot up to 30% battery
>Phone constantly hot as the sun
Hoping the OP5 isn't a massive disappointment and/or doesn't cost as much as a flagship. Otherwise I'll just pick up a 3t for cheap because I'm poor and desperately need a new phone.

Durr wrong pic

What phone is it? Also try updating.

Are you going to blow up a building in your hometown screaming Allah Akbar or you're selling drugs, or filming child porn? What try, I'm not even from the USA, you just look paranoid and loony for me.

>you must be doing something wrong if you care about security and privacy
By your own cuck logic, you should have no problem giving me all of your account usernames and passwords. I'll wait.
>>60962855
You're not a Google, I don't even know you. Google gives me good services in exchange to the statistics from me.
>>60962751
Htc one m7, there are only unofficial builds and hasn't been updated in ages.
May just go back to CM13 to see if it's any better for now.

The latest of course. Unofficial of course.

When I upgraded to N I had to switch to Simple Gallery app, Quickpic(and most other image viewers) started to open images really slowly.

>posting security patches for others to see what security patches have not been applied on social media
You're already CIAniggered through unpatched non-free drivers that can't be patched.
Refer to Vault 7.
>>60962506
Proprietary wifi chips like the broadcom one that had an exploit making it easy to basically take control of your phone, it only has been updated in the Nexus 5x/6p, Nexus 9 and Pixel phone. Others are still vulnerable, and Broadcom won't release a firmware, you can't fix it with Android itself.
You can't fix vulnerabilities that are in proprietary firmwares. Google gives blobs for their devices, they're drivers, and not open source
