Why is everyone freaking out about the 120 Hz screen? I don't get it. What do people do with iPads? You're either browsing the web/apps or watching video. How do either of those benefit from this?
Unless everyone is drawing and playing games all day on the iPads, I don't get it. Shills?

The shills are MS
No way Apple shills here

The iPad pro is commonly used for drawing. If you were to just browse the web or watch videos, youd get the regular iPad. Lots of artists actually like their iPad pro for drawing.

Another thing that 120Hz is useless for because the bigger issue is the response time of the pencil input.

Which is only a couple of microseconds, so having a better refresh rate helps with that.

No.

Still no.
The latency is measured in milliseconds.
>Why would anyone need a 60 Hz display when 30 Hz is just fine for most use cases?
Pencil has a latency of 3 frames on the 60Hz iPad Pro, which is between 34 and 50ms.
On the 120Hz iPad Pro it would be 5 or 6 frames, or effectively half a frame faster than on the 60Hz model.

The first iPad with retina display was garbage, yes. It’s processor can’t handle the resolution and the display drains the battery so fast that it still discharges when you use it hooked up to a charger. I regret picking up mine. However, later models do not have this issue. You’re showing the iPad 3rd gen.
