I've used casper to download k-pop idol snaps and I've gotten those bans 20+ times, seems like they never perm ban you. And the bans seems to happen randomly too, I would get banned and then get right back to it the next day on the same version of casper downloading snaps for one or two weeks until the next ban.

I tried this. I couldn't find an APK for snapchat for x86. I tried again with an arm emulator and I forgot why specifically but that also failed (and was really slow). And of course no play store. If I were to go this route again I would set up a ChromiumOS or Cloudready VM and use that fancy new thing that lets you run Android apps on ChromeOS.
