The only danger is running 120V/few amps parallel to low voltage cables. Usually the internals of better IEC C13 cables are twisted to reduce this but dressing leads and grounding unnecessarily is one of my autist pursuits as ground loops and floating grounds are my arch nemesis

The legs are bolted on and I have enough pillows on the floor to support my own legs so it's pretty comfy
