matter of fact my ancient, gapless HTC Evo 4G LTE runs on cyanogen 10.2 (jelly bean), ever since the rom was first released
all my apps come from fdroid and xposed framework, and a couple pen testing apk's that aren't really available anywhere that require manual installation and a rooted device to run as intended
I like the idea of T-UI, it comes with a config with a decent amount of options, but it is not a terminal and hopelessly limited
if they can only spin that idea into a terminal+launcher, I'd be all over it
