Is there a good note taking app in existence?
What I want is same as a paper notebook: when I pull out the pen, device switches to the app immediately, swipe with fingers to flip pages, write with pen on them, no visible UI that would take away screen space.
If I have to buy a specific phablet or tablet or specialized device for this, so be it. I currently have Galaxy Note 4, and it's not bad, but it's not good enough. I end up using the pen very rarely.

It's called a notebook retard, all you need is a pen and you dont have to worry about battery or the government snooping in on everything you're doing
Get one of those e-ink tablet things and use that.

then use a paper notebook
Bump. I'm hoping to see some comments from note taking app users.

surface + onenote is pretty good, you can press the button on the back of the pen that comes with it and it'll switch straight to a new page for onenote with no visible UI. Bit of an expensive solution though.
