Why aren't you using the best linux distro in the world /g/?
Only supports x86(_64)

If your architecture isn't compatible with the binary cache, then packages are downloaded from source. People have it running on RPi and other ARM systems.

What about MIPS?
its a pretty good contender vs qubes
im keeping my eye on them both
its package manager auto compiles source into binaries for your hardware??
>>60893004
That's not exactly uncommon, OS X, *BSD, and Gentoo all have similar setups.
>>60892824
Because I'm using it"s superior more humane imouto.
Nix and NixOS are fucking boss though - Thanks for laying the groundwork and paving the way for us.
>>60892824
But that's not GuixSD anon
>>60893091
No problem. Guile is a much better language than Nix, but I don't think I could get away without nonfree software.
>>60893141
You totally can though and it's worth making an effort to discover this.
>>60892824
I don't want to configure it. It looks hard.
Because if I wanted to be a systemd cuck I'd just install Fedora
U mean this one?

STFU Kevin
Because too bored to switch.
>>60892824
because it's a piece of trash, I went for the minimal install, added openbox but slim would still only display xterm session
after reading
I added
>services.xserver.desktopManager.xterm.enable = false;
>services.xserver.windowManager.openbox =true;
but of course after running nixos-build --upgrade it still would only show xterm session at slim login. at that point I gave up and installed arch.
also when you see a bug report from 2014 and the issue is still present today you know it's just another shitty project. https://github.com/NixOS/nixpkgs/issues/4300
