Hey guys I want to make my own web browser, how hard is it? I have 4 years of web development experience.

If you actually had 4 years of """webdev""" """experience""" you would realize what an undertaking it is to write a serviceable HTML5/CSS/JS stack.
Protip: If the first question you have when attacking a problem is "how hard is it", the problem is too hard for you.

Depends, I've coded my own private browser that runs great on arch, it took me about 2 years of on and off coding.
If you're a brainlet though it may take you a lot longer.

Care to share the source? I'm hungry for quality browsers.

Don't ask that, that's not polite!

I know, I know, I'm just curious to see how it differs from others. It must be something we don't see elsewhere, otherwise why would he(you) write it?
>>60892459
just copy paste chromium

If wasn't him but i fear he might be laughed at and his honor might be scratched.

Because I wanna see the source code and maybe use it, if I find it suitable? Wanting to see the code is compliment to his certainly hard work for which I don't have enough knowledge.
Most "new" browsers are just reskins of chromium or IE. Don't bother making a new one.

That's true. It's likely some UI built on Hack or something similar chromium-based. A rendering engine is the real big block of a browser and that doesn't get made by an individual in 2 years. Saying you create a browser when solely changing high level UX things is like putting a clock in a case and and saying you made the clock.
