Its unfortunate that the companies/organizations capable of making actual useful augments are hampered by ethical issues, so instead focus on prosthetics, which dont get me wrong, is a good thing, but only if you lose an arm or leg or something. Although I have seen a working prototype of an exoskeleton that basically gives you super strength, but I dont know how close it is to being reasonably affordable for the public
