Hey there, I'm new to Ubuntu and I could use a hand - I'm trying to set up a dual monitor with an old TV using an HDMI converter box, which has always been temperamental. It only works with very specific resolution settings, and I'm trying to set it up to 1920x1080 using compizconfig.
Thing is, I'm not getting an output - its trying to output 1920x1080+1600+0 does anyone know what those last two settings in the string are? could they hold the answer?
as you can see in the screenshot, the system thinks it's using a dual display but the TV is not displaying a thing IRL.

PS: Can anyone tell me how to set my refresh rate to interlaced 60hz?

Do you have xrandr installed?xrandr --output HDMI-1 --mode 1920x1080 --rate 60 --left-of LVDS-1
That is just an example.
