Played around with it before anon. It was an enjoyable experience.
Easy to install, Easy to understand C++ source code, nice C++ interface.

But it could a better GUI library and tools

Both of them are unusable to be fair. UE is the buggiest dogshit ever conceived and crashes every 5 minutes tops. CE is limited to wangblows which is absolute trash for development.
