Hey /g/, will a USB extension cord on both my keyboard and mouse introduce any kind of lag? Does lag only occur when the cords reach a certain length?

No, it's just a cable. No circuitry involved. It would have to be insanely long (dozens of feet) to have any effect.

It has AN effect. You wouldn't be able to perceive it though.

Usb has a max length of 5/3 meters, you won't be able to tell the difference over them lengths.

Usually the problem with long USB cables is the voltage drop due to the thin wires.
Portable hard drives are the first USB devices to drop out on long cables.
