So I'm beginning my "real" degree after finishing my cheap associates. I have 3 choices...
-Computer Engineering/Electrical Engineering
-Computer Science
-Software Engineering
Which one of these is the most profitable and has the most job security?
Do EE. Also try to get a part time with your associates, so you can get some experience under your belt.
which asoc degree
it also depends on what you want to learn and do, code monkey or applied physics engineer
both are highly paid depending on the business

The real answer is to go with what you like to do. Success follows passion, and those are all good options.
Working with circuits and power systems is very different than coding.

I'm just starting my associates in CS but the way it was put to me was If you wanted to lead a software development team go CS, Go CE or EE if you want more hands on time with hardware.

another consideration is your coworkers. Engineering of all flavors draw a certain personality type and same for software dev. Alot of people can't stand code monkeys.
