For one, don't get a LeEco because chink phones are shit and will always be shit (except Xiaomi)

iPhone 7, by far
OP5
HTC U11
Sony XZP
These three are your best options. All three of them also use a lightweight android skin.
Avoid LG and Samsung. Both of them use a shitty android skin that will bog down the performance within the first year of use.

The upcoming z2 may be worth a look at as well.

Best phone of 2017 so far looks to be the LG G6 until something comes out that is better. Affordable is vague. If you mean buy it outright then a HTC 10 or LG V20 are the best deals in 2017 (2016 models). LG G6 via Tmobile is best deal if you want new as they're 400ish for the GSM TMO versions. LG had a deal where you got a B1G1 free rebate a $500 echeck if you bought two phones. Tons of new G6's for 400 dollars.

>HTC U11
Carrier locked to Sprint unless you buy unlocked direct. It also won't be a good seller on the used market due to these shenanigans. Good phone bad business practices. Sprint has the cheapest devices next to Verizon on the used market because they're a shit carrier.

It's more important to get unlockable and flashable phone, than fast.

you aren't important
Not OP but I'm thinking about getting either the Galaxy Note 8 or the best version of the new Pixel 2. Obviously I'm hesitant about Samsung due to them being the worst offenders of fucking with Android, but I really like their displays.

I'm more important than you know, or will ever know.

Xperia XZ Premium is your best choice.

Does the 4K screen really find that much use though? And doesn't it drain battery like crazy if you do play 4K video?

Not even him but this has really piqued my curiosity. What do you do?
