Hey /g/ I have an old toshiba satellite c855d-s5359 and my idiot brother put a BIOS password on it and can't remember what it is any more. Toshiba's site says they can reset it if I take it to their service center but I don't think it's worth spending any money on. Does anyone know how I can do this myself?
just give it back, Jamal.

I bought it from a staples store and I'm white.
Dissemble the laptop and see if you can take out the Bios battery or see if you can find the bios reset jumper on the motherboard & short it.

now get lost Tyrone.

Ugh, I wish there were an easier way. Taking apart a laptop is a nightmare. There are always a bunch of really delicate connections which break when you separate the case.
give it back lamar...

Pick one, Jamal. Take it apart, take it to Toshiba, or give it back. Also, there's an /sqt/ specifically for people like you who don't use google/ask stupid questions.

Try this >>60865326 and if it doesn't work then try to find a stock BIOS image or a Coreboot image and flash it with a SBC or something.

>>60864961
You and the laptop both have to go back.

Yeah like I care what you think.

Back to western Europe where my ancestors came from many generations ago? No.
You niggers crack me up.
As an update, I took out the BIOS battery and laptop battery about 10 minutes ago. I'm going to wait a few more minutes and see if that worked.

give it back deshawn

there should be a master key for the bios password. just google it (thats how I unlocked a laptop my dad bought at a pawn shop).
The easiest way is to find and take the CMOS out.
