Amazon fire stick is the best option, no contest.

Raspberry Pi or something similar.

I haven't tried it myself, but I've seen several Anon say they do it in RasPi threads.

Yes, that's actually what I've been using. Handles up to 1080p H264 perfectly, though don't expect the same performance for higher res, or stuff like Chinese cartoons.
