the bass is in a different league to the monks, monks bass drops off early and doesn't have much of an impact
hi-z extends really low, sounds lower than my seahf 400ohm pair. punchy and is quite forward but doesn't sound muddy, they take EQing well to so if you boost the bass a bit you can really nig out

seahf & ty hi-z earbuds are made by the same guy, all my pairs have been excellent but as far as value for money goes these are the best. $5 a pair with free shipping (so i think cheaper than monks) or 2.5mm TRRS for $10

Say you got a 600x600px and tel the printer to print 2 Jobs. One in a one inch square the second in a 2 inch square.
The result is that the one inch square print is of quality 600dpi and the 2 inch square one is of quality 300dpi.
