I have an nzxt s340 case with the following fan support:
Front: 2x 140/2x120mm
Top: 1x 140/120mm (1 x 120mm FN V2 Fans Included)
Rear: 1x 120mm (1 x 120mm FN V2 Fan Included)
I'm finished building my pc but I'm completely stupid when it comes to fans. This is my build.

redpill me on case fans guys
Arctic F12 pwm, that's all you will ever need

>who said I had a window?
Akasa 14cm Viper

It doesn't have to be poo colored
gonna wait (tm) for the new noctua A series (gentle typhoon upgrades!) Fans

> 4 Years to steal the gentle typhoon design
Mmmm...
>>60857844
Redux are inferior
>>60856333
>>60857905
well at least i might be able to get them here in denmark
also they DID upgrade the plastic, so they will be very fucking slightly better
I've heard Aerocool Shark fans are decent for case fans. I've also heard Fractal Design's stock case fans are good.

Industrial fans sound like a wind tunnel.
>>60857953
I got these in front with >>60857894 top and bottom. perfect combination.
My grandfather switched from all poo fans to some new corsair fan with a new bearing technology or something.
Did he get memed?
>>60858748
rofl yes
hopefully he got red LEDS, they use less powah
>>60858748
ML fans are objectively the best, but they're not cheap.
>>60858826
thats a weird way to write gentle typhoons
>>60858826
Are the new ML series really worth the additional $5? They have gucci LEDs but I might just wait for the chromax Noctua fans
>>60858443
I have Noctua fans on my CPU cooler, and eloops for case. Super quiet, and great movement.
>>60858826
He always buys new expensive shit, like the older titan x back before the 980ti release
>>60857844
these.
just bought two 140 1500rpm redux pwm, and one 120 1200rpm redux pwm fans to replace my two 140 cooler master masterfans air flow and one cm masterfan airflow 120. all three cooler master fans had rattling both mounted vertically and horizontally.
the only downside to the redux fans is that they don't come with the nice rubber grommets. you have to buy those separately. though i did buy the 16 count black grommet box.
if you're looking at noctua fans right now amazon and newegg have the redux ones on sale. the 140's are going for $15 each instead of the normal $22 each and the 120's for $14 instead of $20.
really bumbed out about the cooler master fans though. never had issues with their fans before until now with the masterfans. should have listened to the reviews since a lot complained about rattling.
>>60857918
This is what I use with my fanless build.
>>60857989
Not if you turn down their speed. I have 3000's, and they're inaudible at low speed. You're not supposed to run them at max velocity.
>>60857989
Those aren't the industrial version tho.
>>60856525
Blade design is interesting. I did't realise pc case fans experienced wave drag whilst rotating near the speed of sound.
So should I replace all the games in my define r5 with those OP?
>>60861204
Phone why the fuck did you autocorrect fans to games?
Corsair Maglev for stuffing air through tight spaces, heatsinks and radiators.
Arctic F12 or F14 for everything else.
>>60861252
Wouldn't catch me dead with anything from corsair it's like buying a biostar motherboard
>All the consumer-tier sleeve bearing shit ITT
San Aces/Deltas a best. And no, they're not noisy. Just run them at 5V.
>>60861304
>hurr cheap fans are fine of you just compromise
>>60861304
>just run it at 5v
This defeats the purpose
>>60856333
I have 8 EK-Vardar F2-120 (1450rpm) and some random 230mm front fan.
(3 top on my 360mm rad, 1 rear on my 120mm rad, and 4 as side intake for balance). They seem to all work well enough that I can actually hear my 1080's coil whine above them.
>>60861341
>Hurr the market isn't literally flooded with cheap enterprise parts from scrapped server equipment
>>60861344
Why? They move the same amount of air as your consumer crap at full speed while being more silent and more reliable. Plus if you want to go full retard you can just use a fan controller and turn them full blast.
>>60861404
>buying used shit
>ever
Any good 120mm front intakes fans that can pull air through a grill and dust cover mesh while being quite?
>>60861611
Jou mother
>>60861565
literally nothing wrong
Amazon sent me these two by accident. Are they any good or should i sell em and buy different fans?
>>60861821
2 questions
1. Are they corsair?
2. Are they more expensive than the ones you ordered?
If no to the first and yes to the second than keep them
Never use crosair
>>60861903
Yeah, I ordered only 2 stock fans that come with the x62 aio and got these instead
>>60861903
Not OP, but pretty sure NZXT has the Hue+.
>>60861821
Sell the Hue+ online and get yourself something nice
>>60856632
>muh gaymen aesthetic
kys
Some cheapy coolermaster box of 4.
Ten bucks a fan.
Mag-lev bearing.
Good airflow, bad static pressure.
The best fan for the money.
The best are the ones that come with your chassis.
>>60856699
Here's your redpill.
>Adding additional case fans to what comes with the PC case generally does not improve thermal performance by any margin. In many cases you're wasting money and adding additional noise.
If you got 2 included fans, you're basically solid.
>>60856333
nanoxia ds140
nice
MFW OP posts the shittiest kind of fan you can possibly buy.
>5CFM @ 0.1 mm/H20
Kek.
>>60865158
I think OP was expecting us to post shitty fans.
Kek.
I buy random fans on aliexpress and they last for years and years
now theres a 200 mm pwm noctua fan i can go full poo
>>60861204
Those ones in OP are 120mm
