Anyone ever done entry level QA at a games developer?
I get the impression this is one those jobs which looks amazing on paper, getting payed to play games, but in reality is absolutely horrendous. Like them making you play one 5 minutes of gameplay for 12 hours to try replicate a bug.

A good friend of mine did this for a few months. It is exactly as you state, you're expected to run up to walls to find fall-through-the-map-type bugs, play specific sequences over-and-over-and-over-and-over-and-over again.
There is no game in QA, there is only tiring, soulless repetitive work. It is easy however.
I actually work as a QA in game developement for a year and a half. For me it's cool. But i guess i mostly depends on the studio you work at.
Maybe even you have heard of the games i was testing.
Anyway you should give it a try.
