FastPictureViewer is the only that uses GPU acceleration so it's actually fast. I wish others did the same. The free version only opens Jpeg so forget it, I just wanted to rant about it.

Just tried it. Opens slow as fuck compared to the others.

I'm pretty happy with JPEGview. Once you configure it to your liking it's pretty much perfect. I particularly like the cropping option and inbuilt brightness/contrast/saturation/etc controls

I use WinPicTest. It is rare but if you keep your eyes open and wait, the developer will post a public release.

I use it because it supports gif and is minimalist.

It also works on GNU/Linux if you use mono.

Irfanview would be perfect if it didn't ruin a lot of gifs where it plays them with ultrafast speed.

That's why I use honeyview even though it's said to be a botnet.

Any idea why I can't adjust the master volume via media keys or the mute button while FastStone is running in the foreground? Pretty weird. Foobar2000 global hotkeys still work though.
