The problem with that thing is it's price. The keyboard seems nice enough for a smartphone but it's specs are lacking for the price they ask. All in all you're buying a midrange device for the price of a highend flagship just for having a somewhat usable keyboard.

The second big issue is that BB doesn't allow for it's devices to be rooted, so you end up with a locked down android OS that may never get any updates beyond maybe 1 or 2 years.

Imo only buy it if you're really autistic about having a keyboard on your phone, otherwise get something else.

Wow that sounds pretty horrible and somewhat atypical of a phone running basically stock Android. I used to own a HTC M9 then turn off two of the big cores and run it basically like 808.
Two more questions
1) have you done a factory reset after upgrading to marshmallow. Those bigger updates sometimes gets some shit shuffled
2) have you ever tried disabling the blackberry apps? I've recently heard a reviewer say he disabled the hub and a few blackberry apps because they took up too much battery on his keyone.
