Just wondering. I couldn't have a phone without a case. The ability to put it somewhere and still watch the screen is an essential feature. Not having a case would, to me, be like not having a headphone jack or a SD card slot or something like that.

I actually only want to buy a Xiaomi phone for my next phone as my current phone is an RN3P. I like MIUI.

I don't really dig moto Gs too much.

I owned 1, 2 and 4.

1 felt amazing at the time, but that was because it was fairly cheap, I bought into that meme right ahead and my previous phone was complete garbage that would lag with stupid shit like keyboard replacement apps.

Moto G2 seemed like just a bigger version and I missed the decent screen, would have issues with the screen at times, not as many ROMs available at first... I felt like I regretted it a bit.

And last year just to replace my other phone (an Aquaris E5 4G, which wasn't too bad to be honest) I decided to grab the Moto G4.

And I don't feel like it's that great either. I find that I have to root it even for something as simple as using the LED for notifications. That's mean. Also Lineage OS doesn't seem that good. I'm using Resurrection Remix right now and it's an ok ROM I guess, but it surely doesn't feel that good of a phone either. Just ok-ish.

LineageOS is ok but suffers from the same issues many ROMs have while also providing not much more than stock. RR gives me a lot of shit I like while also restarting the phone at times.

Verizon is the next carrier locked that's typically cheaper too. Both are the old school CDMA carriers. Tmobile and ATT are GSM and can be used on either service usually once carrier unlocked. HTC10's are also in the $200 range and has one of the best cameras your can get on a phone still atm.
