She's intended to ban sites like GitHub and Sourceforge that makes it easier for people to use encryption tools in their code and wants no new or existing tech companies to have their data not accessible by the government.

What really needs to be banned is unconstitutional political ideologies like islam.

That's the root of the problem. Not the technology they abuse.
>>
>>60839331

It worls fine in China and Bulgaria.

They banned names like mohammed. and the muslims in bulgaria knows how to behave.
The muslims in China are dealt with flamethrowers when they run amok.

It works.
>>
>>60839494
No, the root of the problem is your shitty government trying to control everyone and watch everything.

England could ban immigration from aggressive anti western nations instead, it wouldn't need to ban Islam necessarily or ban thought.

this is motherfucking great britain, take your illiberal eastern bollocks and shove it.

there are two solutions to the islamist problem, either a sustained campaign of social engineering and propaganda against the salaphists and their kind to root out illiberal eastern dogma and replace it with western thought, or a final solution.

In opinion polls.

In the real life you want one motivated voter for every three people that merely prefer your opponent.

Corbyn motivated the shit out of students and commies.

Or just put a ban on muslims from coming into the UK, maybe it'll encourage them to abandon Islam for christianity.

At least the oppressive state is making the country grow their middle class and building the wealth of the nation.

In the west we're oppressed by by an ideology that wants to behead us simply because we are non-muslim.
>>
How can thread about her antifreedom intentions turn into emigration talk?
Scotland will have referendum on independence again.
She's partnered with some n. Ireland christians, anti-abortion and stuff.

Abour net freedom, yes, we should focus on cloudflare and other shit too, but she declared war on freedom as we know it for few decades. and if we truly wanted we could crush them at any time, but in spite of the best efforts of the short sighted, self serving elite, its starting to dawn on people that action actually has to be taken on this topic, even ordinary muslims who shy away from dealing with their own communities problems are waking up to the fact that they do in fact have to clean their own house.

What has this liberty given you?

You gave your young people liberty:
-They destroyed your universities.
-Evergreen students wants to ban white students
-Yale students are offended by halloween and think universitie should be "safe homes" and not intellectual spaces.
-Your youngsters think they can make careers out of being rape victims and walk around with madrases.
-Missouri university is bankrupt.
-Berkely is burning up in flames and won't let people with different opinions talk

What good is this liberty for?

There are several forms of liberty, many of which are mutually exclusive. One might make a case that the privilege of living in a sane, civilized society is more important than so-called "political liberty". Not saying that living in modern China is sane (I wouldn't even know), but moar democracy doesn't equate to better.

Think Anon is correct.

I bet you there are a ton of people from China who are looking at the west right now, and think we are insane.
they thin we are masochists who love to be blown up by muslims.
>>
>>60839970
Yet all this is very recently, liberty cannot be blamed for this.
>>
>>60839988
One doesn't need more than a very cursory glance at the history of the US to see that said "liberty" has only declined since the revolution.
>>
>>60839881
liberty is dangerous, garbage in, garbage out. in spite of this there is no other way worth living, we are very keen on our just and liberal governance here.

also, what makes you think liberty is a thing you can give? liberty is inherant to man in a state of nature, lawful government is derived from these natural rights. there is no such thing as legitimate government that bestows rights, rights are bestowed onto government by the consensus of its people.

the bollocks you speak of is a product of the past illiberal acts of western nations, a reaction to what was rightly viewed as injust. this fed directly into postmodernism, which gave them the reasoning they have used to attack the very concept of liberalism itself, all in the pursuit of so called "social justice". your views are responsible for the creation of idiots like those.
>>
>>60839970
>goverment manipulation is direct consequnce of said liberty
Goverment/corporate manipulation is result of liberty that's being defined by liberals, who mistake free market with freedom et cetera.

The examples you've been giving isn't liberty, but a sick corruption of liberty by those who think they're freeing themselves. Social justice is not liberty at all.
>>
>>60840003
>liberty that's being defined by liberals
Agreed, but political liberty is what allows this confusion to come into existence in the first place. In the power vacuum left without a well-defined ruler, it is easy for the wicked to wedge themselves in.
>>
>>60839953
fuck your order, krautcuck. the only sane, civilised society there can be is a nation derived from that reasoning given in lockes description of a commonwealth. a top down order of government only inspires dissent and rebellion, true order comes from a nation built on individualist values.

>>60840025
i do not disagree, social justice is indeed illiberal. that said, see above.
>>
Theresa May has no majority, no mandate and importantly no self awareness. Hopefully she'll get the boot from the Tories, Cameron resigned for way less.

She is a control freak maniac.
>>
>>60839732
They're already trying to change the narrative ITT. It's not Britain's fault that the country is basically 1984, it's the Muslim immigrants who "force" them to enact anti-privacy laws!

>>
>>60839331
>She's intended to ban sites like GitHub and Sourceforge
No, the assumption is that she'd have to do that to 'ban encryption'. At no point has she said anything about those sites. At most she'll make end-to-end encryption in commercial applications like WhatsApp illegal. Which will immediately get taken to court and thrown out because it goes against the convention on human rights.
>>
>>60839936
It's just an excuse to seize power. I seriously doubt britain would be 100% free overnight if Muslim immigration was banned. Islam is obviously anti-freedom, but that doesn't excuse anti-freedom politicians like May either. She can rot in Hell with the terrorists.

That's wrong. You always had the freedom to critisize islam. You didn't need a "human rights" convention for that.
By the way, that convention doesn't do shit to allow you to say such a thing. That's a basic constitution in your country that allows you free speech.
So stop giving the credit to that shit.

"Human rights" have never been a benefit to you. Because I know you're struggling to come up with examples to prove me wrong.

Coincidentally, this is why "muh feelings" wimmin and numales are wrong. They believe that they can live in some world where they have inner peace and all their emotions are in harmony and they won't have to use reason to suppress any of them. It becomes particularly ridiculous when they believe that they can also live in harmony with other people that way.

>According to history religions die and new ones pop up
New ones can't pop up if the ruling religion isn't benevolent enough to let them grow. And this one isn't benevolent in any shape or form.

This religion isn't even a religion. It's an ideology that is far more more advanced brain virus than any others.
It programs its offspring into the brain virus, and if the offspring is "defective" (leaves islam), the brain virus commands the host to kill the offspring.
When a host of the brain virus tries to infect another country, the host is allowed to take multiple wives. If the host takes 4 wives, there will be 3 less wives for other men in the country that's subject to invasion of the virus, and thus there will be 0 children for those men, who can't pass on their religion to their children, whereas this islamic brain virus could gain up to 40 children to infect.

It's a severely effective brain virus that has evolved to conquer other nations and suppress other thoughts and other religions very effectively.

You are not getting rid of this growing cancer any time soon.

But especially here in Germany, many immigrants work full time. All these people add to the country's economic output. I think you have fallen victim to the alt-right indoctrination that every immigrant is a lazy fuck.

And I just know that I will be called out for defending migrants because I am German. But sadly, ad hominems are not arguments and do nothing to discredit a reasonable (and empirically supported) line of thought - something that you can only do when you think for yourself (that should be considered a hint, btw, in case it flies over your head)

Muslims barely make a footprint in Japan, you know why? Because the Japanese government knows Islam is not compatible with Japanese culture and society. You want to destroy a dangerous ideology try focusing on the thing that is provoking and bringing it home first

>But especially here in Germany, many immigrants work full time.
In Sweden the story is quite different. Less than 1% have jobs.

Perhaps you should consider the possibility your government is lying to you.
Just like the government lied to you for 5 days straight in new years Eve 2016. Nobody in the world know the muslims were mass gangbanging Germen women in Köln, the government lied to you and suppressed the truth for 5 days, and it was only on the 5th January people found out the horrible truth.

Well, the countries like Denmark who have signed the convention is incapable of exiling Criminals who have spent all their life committing crimes.
The population doesn't like the criminal.
The politicians don't like the criminal. They claim they want him out, but they claim they can't exile him, due to human rights.

Meanwhile China hasn't even signed into that convention, because it knows it's a scam.

I could argue China has more freedom in this regard.

You want to know what German citizens want when the economy goes down the drain? A cheap job. They wont find one when an immigrant will do the job for even cheaper right? The Japanese regret bringing in thousands of Brazilian workers when the economy fell because the natives then relied on low wage jobs which most were already taken by the foreign Brazilian workers. Bringing in foreign cheap workers is never a good idea
>>60843630
Yes and those Muslims make 0.0008% of the population. There's a few million Christians in Japan after the Portuguese brought it to Japan 400 years ago and it barely increased since then the same will apply to Muslims, it will be suppressed because its not compatible

>In Sweden the story is quite different. Less than 1% have jobs.

Admittedly, our education system (or rather the part that is taking on the migrants) is probably the best in the world (vocational school) - people learn German in 6 - 12 months flat and some are here less than 3 months and have their first internships that then turn into jobs (that honestly most Germans may not want to do).

The big government boogeyman fallacy? Really? We have free press here, you know. And all major news outlets - even the public tv channels - had reports on that terrible crime (that I am NOT trying to talk down - those fuckers in my mind deserve to be kicked out or shot immediately). So I don't know where you get your information, but have you considered that your source may be lying?

We have not wanted to do those jobs for at least 30 years.
And we have imported cheap labour since the 1960s, and yes, we have faced some negative consequences (and dealt with them).
We are also the country that was the least hit by the last few economic downturns. Jobs lost from the 2008 banking crisis were recuperated after two years - the US took until roughly 2014.

I know we are on /g/, so I would recommend most of you to occasionally put down the programming book and read an economic book or the newspaper once in a while.

The impact of immigration on native jobs is minimal.

Please do your research, look up articles of this crime.

I guarantee you, you will not be able to find any article about it from the 1st of January to the 4th of January.
The crime was effectively censored from existence during that time.

So much for your "free press".

Nope, the highest court repealed the case and let him stay on the ground of "human rights".
http://nyheder.tv2.dk/samfund/2016-08-29-husker-du-sigoejnerbossen-her-er-han-i-dag-0

Do you now understand the argument? "Human rights" is designed to scam European nations and put restrictions on their sovereignty.

This portion explains it
>En af hovedårsagerne til, at den 46-årige sigojnerboss klarede frisag, var hans store tilknytning til Danmark, herunder hensynet til hans to mindreårige born, som ganske vist er anbragt på et opholdshjem, men som han har forældreretten over og ser mindst én gang om ugen
It wass his children's rights that weighted the highest in the courts.

So the rest of the country is fucked, and have to tolerate his existence, because there is a dictate from above.

Doesnt that mean the German economy is somewhat dependant on immigrants? You think thats viable for a long term? If Germany will keep bringing in non white immigrants in every year for as long as the state is alive you can pretty much kiss the last remaining culture you have left not to mention your identity itself. I'd think it would be more feasible to campaign for the unemployed native citizens to take low wage jobs and that would mean a more stable future

>We've had to deal with far left, far right and mafia terrorism for decades and never once we've had to renounce our liberties.

and the UK hasn't had to deal with the IRA for almost equally as long?

as far as eroding liberties go it has nothing to do with terrorism and never has done, it's a scapegoat to push oppressive police state control methods and people eat it up because they want to ensure a hard brexit and have been brainwashed by tory propaganda that May isn't a 'murderous marxist terrorist sympathiser'

call it what it is, blatant oppression, because calling it anything else does a huge disservice to everyone no matter what side of the fence you're on

>because we're actually capable to identify, neuter and eventually expel dangerous elements, and we can do this easily

you have to be fucking shitting me if you think the UK isn't capable of preventing terrorism or that it's an easy job, your chief of civil protection certainly doesn't think that's the case - http://www.ilgiornale.it/news/politica/rischio-attentati-c-e-anche-litalia-avr-suo-prezzo-pagare-1348803.html

>and we can do this easily without having to resort to retarded shit like banning encryption.

this is why it's so dangerous to brush this under the rug as an anti-terrorism measure, terrorists (islamic or otherwise) have been committing terrorist attacks for decades without encryption and will EASILY continue to do so after the UK implements its draconian surveillance laws

if the snowden et al leaks have taught us anything it's that governments the world over are completely disregarding laws to spy on citizens and when they get caught they make laws exemplifying themselves, anything that makes this easier, like banning encryption, which is something even US senators are trying to push, is going to be a priority for these governments

if you're not in a country like switzerland which has constitutionally protected privacy I wouldn't trust your government one bit

And another retard that did not go through the NSA leaks. Please inform yourself before you write something on the web.

If you want to be in denial or disbelief that's fine, but there are hacks available for ALL except the latest version of IOS (so including the 5c).

They just wanted to set a precedent so they did not have do these roundabout ways and get a foot between the encryption that is continuing in companies.

Think about it, everything is digital now. But now more and more stuff is getting encrypted. Which makes the jobs of FBI, NSA, GHQ, ... more difficult and time consuming.

What is more, if encryption is implemented correctly these agencies can't read anything anymore since those algorithms can NOT be cracked when done properly.
