How is Haskell hard?
Sure, it requires you to think differently to OO programming. However, as soon as you learn to use recursion instead of loops, use accumulators during recursion, iterate over things using map, etc, then you're like over half way there.
In Haskell you're taking away state. You have less to deal with than in C or C++. Or are you people the same kind of people who learnt Java as your first language and then decided never to learn again?
