okay serious question here.

I been wanting to buy the ipad pro 13' mostly to read a lot of ebooks on business and programming and i want as big a screen as possible for this purpose. But I know other than for reading and surfing the web the ipad pro is useless as some have said, its not for work or productivity.

Question is, is it worth it? It's expensive as fuck, also cant decide if the 256 gb is enough or i should pay 200$ more for the 512.

Some OEM Apple hardware, like the Broadcom wifi chips enables handoff and all the continuity features. With clover and proper nvram variables there is no way to tell between a Mac Pro and a hackintosh. It is 100% functional.

I’m a CS student with an iPad, and I fucking love this thing. I can’t code natively on it, but I make up for that with a VPN and Remote Desktop. I can get a full Windows interface on it whenever I need it (which really isn’t that often). Otherwise, this thing is an academic’s wet dream. World-class handwriting support, a keyboard, a great display for reading documents and textbooks, a great camera for scanning in paper documents, all in a slim package with all-day battery life and an optional keyboard.

Beyond that, it handles general light computing tasks, and is much better at playing music than you’d expect from something it’s size.

I’ve had it for over a year now, and all in all, it’s a great device. If I had to choose just one brand-new-in-box computer for $700 or less, it’d be an iPad Pro.
