AHAHAAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHA

>1720SP
Yup, that's AMD all right.
>>60822091
Why can't they make a decent GPU
All that time and money on larrabee, and then all the time and money on integrated. Even when the gpu takes up far more of the die than the cpu, they blow
Ins tall gentoo

2048 shaders? That looks really powerful for a iGPU
>>60822224
PS4 Pro has more than 2k.
>>60822263
Yeah, and that's a console, not a fucking mobile chip.
>>60822102
I have a 5 year old 3750k with an integrated GPU and it can play League of Legends no problem.
whats the problem here.
>>60822288
intel btfo.
>>60822102
It's almost like theirs only so many ways to draw a triangle, and all of those are patented already or something.
So it has come down to this, Intel begging AMD for GPUs?
>>60822382
This was already in plans way before Zen released, Intel can only fight Vega iGPU with other Radeon iGPUs, their GPU arch is woefully crappy.
This is much more interesting, Intel's GPUs are a turd for anything not 2D
>Hiroshige Goto's word about Kaby Lake-G:
>Intel will introduce "Kaby Lake-G" which integrates stacked DRAM "HBM 2" into CPU package within the year. Like the conventional eDRAM version CPU, the DRAM of the HBM 2 is sealed in the CPU package. However, there are some major differences. As already reported in the rumors, the GPU core is not Intel 's built - in core (it also has an embedded core), a third - party discrete GPU die.

>>60822288
fucking HD3000 in my 2410m could play this piece of shit game along with others like tf2, csgo etc, but that doesn't mean it's good.
Have you seen what integrated APUs in laptops can do? I've seen an A6 running tf2 on 1600x900, max graphics settings putting over 100+ frames constantly.
>>60822326
lol this nigga
AMD not bankrupt and just getting started.
>>60822091
>Intel: We're using AMD GPUs in our CPUs
>Shareholders: ????
AMD stock will certainly go up? But Intels? I don't know.
This reeks of an Apple specific SKU
>>60822615
It probably is one. No way AMD is gonna lease their Vega iGPU before bringing shoah to Intel's mobile market with RR.
>>60822629
I agree, but intel could also license Polaris or older stuff, which is still eons better than their junk.
I don't think AMD is giving away their secret sauce so easily.
>>60822639
Polaris lacks tiled binning, it'll impact it's performance heavily when using DDR4 memory.
>i9 trash has an amd gpu in it
plz plz plz plz plz
the tears would be unreal
>>60822652
No, KL-G are mobile parts.
>>60822648
No amount of DDR4 or bandwidth saving techniques could feed a 32CU AMD GPU, HBM or GDDR are essential, and it was hinted that this is using HBM2 see >>60822432
Also considering this was likely a deal done close to half a year ago, it's most likely Polaris.
>>60822673
They'll have to use EMIB for that. Anyway, we'll see.
Intel in Q4 2016
>lets throw AMD a bone so they can get some money since their CPUs are a joke and we'll have the best of both worlds with our CPUs
>Zen launches
>we're already under contract
Intel: OH SHIT
>>60822718
Yes, it also implies they're using EMIB; they actually can't use AMD's GPUs in a different way other than separating the two dies and the AMD GPU acting as a dGPU, EMIB fixes that.
>>60822101
Intel and AMD has cross-license agreement, don't see anything wrong here
>>60822802
But people thought it was a patent/IP licensing, not PowerVR style like Intel did with old atoms
>>60822720
Anything is better than Intel's current iGPU.
Apple exclusive APU.
>>60822823
It should be pretty fucking obvious. Apple loves Radeon (for whatever reason).
>>60822844
Because AMD sells highest binned low TDP parts to Apple and not the scraps the gaymers get.
>>60822893
And gaymers deserve it for buying anything NVIDIA post-Fermi and pre-Maxwell.
>>60822844
OpenCl
>>60822910
and Metal (apple version of vulkan).
>in 15 months
>16 core Zen on 2 dies
>with Vega on 2 dies
>in an EPYC/TR socket
>>60822933
Why don't they simply adopt Vulkan?
>>60822940
It would be Navi, anon. Something that brings "scalability" to GPUs.
>>60822844
Because they hate nvidia.
writing this from a Macbook Pro 2009 with integrated nvidia graphic (in the chipset).
And yeah, I suppose it's a new Apple CPU, using an intel die and a VEGA die.
>>60823041
>Because they hate nvidia.
Who the fuck LIKES nVidia besides gaymen crowd? They're assholes.
>>60823063
Nintendo dorks?
>>60823133
Considering no one fucking buys these Tegras, Nintendo gets them almost for free.
>>60822091
DELEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET
does macOS count as a proper OS?
Jesus Fuck AMD is at $13.5 out of fucking nowhere.
>>60823290
I'm afraid not
>>60822091
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
>>60822844
> Apple loves Radeon (for whatever reason).
Raja's influence.
>>60823853
They used Evergreens for ye olde iMacs. That was before Raja.
>>60823863
Apple uses OpenCL quite a lot so it kinda makes sense.
>>60822288
Unless you want graphics, nothing really. There are almost infinite number of old games to enjoy.
