Most software is developed to run on Linux servers op. Most software != consumer desktop software. Most software = web application backends on the internet.

Because Windows is an unbearable trash pile that spies on you and crashes every time it updates. Mac OS X and GNU/Linux are stable, don't force updates, have hardly any telemetry out of the box (and unlike Windows it can be disabled), and they both offer standard tools like Bash and GCC that Windows has half assed versions of. All of the games that I've ever wanted to play are either avilble through steam or run in WINE using PlayOnLinux. I have no reason to use Winshit as both a professional and a gamer. Please fuck off.
