Every time I see developers with back pain, I asked them what kind of computer they use at work and 100% of them use laptop without dock station or are on-the-go workers.
Having to look down at your screen is wrong and shouldn't be allowed in a work environment.
And I don't talk about at home where is far worse as you can use it on your bed or in even worse positions.
The best way to use a laptop is to use it a desktop with dock station + mouse + screen + desk + chair.

I had a desktop before, there are too many peripheral devices that wastes precious work space.
My laptop keyboard is pretty comfy to begin with so I don't need a seperate keyboard.
I can lower my chair to reduce the amount damage done to my back.
