What do you guys think of libreboot?
I don't want Stallman telling me which software I can load on my computer.
I want to buy a cheap thinkpad to try it on
>>60803809
only works for older hardware
>>60803834
Yee
Seems cool. I wish I could use it on slightly more modern hardware. I hear the X220 is getting support soon, but I have an X220T, which might make a difference. Similarly, I have a T60p, which doesn't have support like the T60 does.

It's a recommendation you autist
so you'd rather a company tell you which software you use as BIOS, without giving you option to use something else? /v/ please.
>>60803809
with the literal zero willingness of hardware manufacturers to support it, sadly it will never be relevant.
>>60803809
hey that dinosaur is scary and i'm offended
>>60803834
>it's okay for MS and hardware makers to tell me to run botnet, spyware and proprietary programs BUT HOW DARE FUCKING STALLMAN TELL ME TO RUN FREE THINGS THAT RESPECT ME REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
In case nobody suggested suicide for you today, I going to be the first.
>>60805838
But it's free as in freedom, anon
Don't you like freedom?
It's a shitty genderqueer fork of Coreboot
As always, Stallman is right.
>>60805966
Yes, but I can't get a machine that supports it.
>trannyboot
>ever
just use coreboot fgt
