So I have an idea for an app for phones, but I have no clue where to start. I've written everything out but I don't know what I need to make it into something workable. I work in IT as a SysAdmin so I have a good understanding of what needs to happen, just not sure what programs I'll need and languages I'll have to learn. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
>Phones
Gotta be more specific.
>iPhones
Apple has a bunch of proprietary bullshit. I think you'll need xcode and you'll be writing objective-c, but don't quote me on this.
>Android
That's a lot more straightforward - it uses Java. Google made Android Studio just for that (although you can still use something like Eclipse if you want).
>Other (blackberry, windows phone)
I have literally no clue.
>Memes
ionic framework is a good example of a meme. Apparently it's cross-platform so you can develop your iOS app without all of apple's bullshit.
I'm pretty sure there are other memes as well that I can't think of right now.

Cool, Yeah I figured I would develop Android first. It's what I use and what I am use to. I'll look into Android Studio and Java. Thanks!
