I'm in great need of help, I would really appreciate it too.

So I have seen a monitor cheap, and apparently it only runs at 60 hz when you have a 'Digital Display Port 1.2' cable instead of a HDMI(I currently use HDMI).

Could someone give me a hand in checking if my EVGA 1070 FTW is compatible with a 'Digital Display Port 1.2'?

I'm pretty incompetent with this type of thing, so would really love some help.

The other is a SHDD
Theres an empty slot for another 16gb stick of RAM if I can be bothered getting one for dual channel

I'd try to wait til the end of the year. I have a 1070 and it is nice to max stuff out but the jump would be mopre worthwhile to a 2070 or whatever is next.

CEX would give you like £80 for your GPU. Not loads but no refund fuss or ebay fees if you go for it.

If you are going used I'd recommend CEX. It's where I sell all my old PC parts. They test it so I reckon you would be ok. You get more money like £150 if you get a voucher instead of cash. Better than Ebay imo as less of a faff if the gpu is dodgy and needs to be returned.

I went from a 480-1070 which isn't far off what you're thinking of but if you can hold out you'll get more from it. Maybe vega will drive down prices.
