You got memed hard lad. If you actually want to learn something, never ever watch such popsci. Go read a book. Also avoid these vsauce, versatrium(or whatever). I've seen them parroting pbs and in some videos they are plain wrong on various topics.

that's hardly learning.
read a book on linear algebra or something. then you will actually learn something.

These guys know what's up. Pop Sci garbage is purely for entertainment. Read a textbook. Older editions are incredibly cheap

They can't be write about everything.
But yeah, "learning" and "being informed and picking up random trivia" are two entirely different things.
Books, exercises, and mastering skills are where you actually learn. Watching informative YouTube videos isn't learning. If you want to learn stuff, watch and replicate tutorials for some subject (anything from programming, engineering, art, math, music, etc) to get a base level understanding and start building relevant vocab with little effort (I've heard Crash Course is decent for a lot of this early learning), then dive into learning through more specific resources (books, classes, lynda courses depending on the subject, etc) and test your understanding frequently (best by doing projects for yourself or others).
Popsci tells you news and teaches you trivia, primarily as entertainment. Real learning is directed and tested.
