You sound like a turboautist. I have a 2.5GPA and at the time literally didn't know what an object or compiler was and I got a paid internship. Of course they didn't hire me back, but that was because they perceived me as lazy and were convinced I knew how to program.
If you're actually educated you just need to start putting points into CHA.
