There's several KNL versions. Card one works simply as accelerator. CPU version uses LGA3647 and is basically an oversized Atom in that mode.

The problem is, everyone that needed a shitton of computer power already moved to GPU accelerated libraries.

Why would you get one of those, when you could get a K80 for half the price, that does basically the same but better?
