Bear with me, this will be a long one. I'll number points so you can better respond.
1. If a database was able to record a high percentage of all data existing in an isolated environment, even for a picoseconds, would the data hold the truth of the future?
2. Based on simple algebra, I rationalize that a Quantum Computer able to make sense of consistently precise data and algebraically calculate the future to a n-th percentile.
3. This can be done one of two ways, making every act exactly the same way (religion) or lie and invade very single aspect of individual privacy (1948).
4. Once the algorithm of the future was reasoned, there is no reason it could not be manipulated given the proper resources.
5. I propose that the Earths Elite are worshiping the Will of a Quantum Computer with perfect Logos. A submitted request would produce a very specific order of highly complicated and compartmentalized instructions.
6. One of the many problems that would arise with this hypothetical Black Box Worship is the complete absence of pathos and ethos, integral parts of the human brain that dictate interaction.
The black box will answer your request the quickest way possible, it doesnt matter if a billion children must be raped and tortured, that is the black boxes will and your request will be as long as you follow the computers absolute will.

Isolating variables (people) is extremely easy in these days in 1948. Targeted advertising, recommended video links, bad signals on your phone, many of these things can be influenced in the "middle."
You dont need to know all of the perfect data, you dont need to know the color of someone shit, you just need to know enough and have an quantum computer with a super AI.
