any of you here still own an S3? what ROM do you use on it?
just use linageos
I stopped messing with it on the last version of exodus 2016-11-12 nightly d2spr. it's not my main phone anymore so it doesn't have anything besides google apps. since mine's the sprint version, i have it on a free freedompop account just in case i need the free data for something (1gb free a month, has a fpop voip number too for talk/text).
it's still a nice phone, especially with a new battery and wireless charging pad. with so little installed it gets like 3ish days screen off time, no wifi. I carry it occasionally and just use hangouts for calling.
I have a S3 neo with original Rom and zeam launcher, works great+
I moved to an S5 this spring, actually.
My S3 runs cyanogenmod 11 I think. The Kitkat version anyway.

I tried using CM13 but it was too slow. CM11 is stable enough, sure.
I left it aside after jumping ships.
Fuck samsung and their stupid bloatware and shit battery problems.

The brightness will get stuck after a reboot, the automatic blue filter doesn't work, wifi refuses to connect sometimes, same for data services, keep getting X app has stopped responding, camera is way shakier than the samsung stock one, but overall it's a great rom with lots of customizations and freedom.
My s3 performs like shit and overheats
Some hardware failure i suppose.. 2 different roms had no difference.
