Thinking of mixing 1u DSA and G20 keycaps, reversed G20 for thumb keys, DSA for finger keys

Anyone else done this?

i know basicaly nothing about keyboards. i need a new keyboard as i have been using my old cheap dome keyboard for almost 6 years. i want something harder to press, but silent. the research i have do so far implies that cherry mx brown would be what i am looking for. is cherry a meme? what should i get?

Here is one thing to note: The sound of bottoming out is louder then the actuation mechanism of the switch. If you do want something quiet and tactile then get a dampened switch like matias qc. The only good keyboards with those switches are the ones made by matias
