Sorry am old and poor and out of the game so idk nothing about stuff anymore.

Saw an 55" 4k HDR Hannspree for under 500$ but i reckon PQ must be absolute ass?
(i still got a plasma from 2013)

Just stick with your 2013 Panasonic.

The only downside of good plasma is heat. Regular LCD is still shite by comparison.

LCD's are getting pretty good, the ones with VA panels often have contrasts above 5000:1.
With local dimming it gets even better.
These things are expensive as fuck though.
